TNT and Collina d’Oro Disc Golf meet up for the first official disc golf event in Ticino

On a warm sunny Sunday, members of the TNT Trick and Throw Disc Golf Club came down to Ticino for a full day of disc golf on the Collina d’Oro. Ten members from TNT and five from Collina d’Oro played two friendly rounds on a custom 12-hole course on the hilly playing field in Agra. 

The day kicked off with one round in the morning, followed by a barbecue lunch and a putting competition. After lunch, all the players switched groups and played one more round for a total of 24 holes. Although the high temperatures in the afternoon made it a bit more challenging, the hilly terrain and picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable day of disc golf.

Thanks to the vision and planning of the TNT club and support from the host Collina d’Oro club, the first disc golf event in Ticino was a resounding success! The outing proved there is plenty of interest in playing Disc Golf south of the Gotthard, and both clubs were already discussing when the next event could be.
